Pros

None, mid level management totally corrupt

Cons

Mid level management taking back handers from companies for extortionate contracts. Bullying is rife, dishonest management practices to get rid of staff (making up lies and backing each other up to force people out). I'd give zero stars if I could.

Pros

nothing more, since they moved from full remote

Cons

mostly important at work is the result, not how many days a week you were in the office

Dear colleague, Thank you for your review as a current employee in our Prague location. We appreciate your feedback and understand your concerns regarding the transition from full remote work. We acknowledge that working from home has been a positive experience for many employees, and we recognize the benefits it can provide. However, as a company, we also value collaboration and the importance of being present in the office for certain tasks and projects. Regarding your comment about the importance of results over the number of days spent in the office, we encourage you to have a conversation with your manager. They may have ideas or suggestions on how to find a balance that allows you to focus on delivering results while considering flexible work arrangements. We appreciate your input and strive to create a work environment that supports both productivity and employee well-being. Your DHL Team

Pros

Amazing workplace with defined processes Not a whole lot of stress (compared to previous employers) Friendly and casual work atmosphere Lots of opportunity to grow if one is willing + free learning courses Fair and reasonable goals and yearly reviews (which affect your bonus)

Cons

Office space is in Chodov (specific "cons" for people travelling for work to prague from North/West of Prague) - The Park is however a nice place to work at Latest company decision to return from full home office model (or 1-2 days in the office, not enforced but recommended) Multiple people from the teams including myself were hired under the promise of a full home office possibility - this changed out of the blue from day to day by a company decision, even though the company reduced the buildings (from 3 to 2). We have moved out of Prague to save costs on the crazy inflation price changes (20%+ on rents). We have also signed a specific document to "agree to let go" of state defined supplementary payments for home office (to cover heating/internet/etc home office costs) - which adds a bitter taste to this decision to return to the offices. There were zero complaints on our remote work with even increased productivity within our team, based on metrics (as we also were willing to work out of ours since your work place is basically within reach all the time). Closing words - one of the arguments for the change was that "the front employees like drivers have zero home office and also worked during covid at the office" - which blew my mind as a remote worker. *the pros outweight this decision for myself, but I feel very disappointed as this was not agreed during the hiring process
