Pros

Stable environment, good colleagues, lunches together, best location and workplace in Prague. 6 sick days, home office possible, colleagues within the team/department tend to help each other

Cons

Obsolete infrastructure, one has to always escalate, if resolution is needed, sometimes infra teams are overloaded and resolve tickets late. One has to fight with business over almost everything, money, resources, etc. Solution support is responsible for everything, overloaded. It is very difficult to get pay rise, or promotion. Teams works good internally, cooperation between the teams is poor. Turnover in the team slows down the knowledge transfer, sometimes key person leaving can drain the team knowledge. Difficult to retain good team members due to rigid promotional process and almost impossible pay rise

Pros

Many of the 'doers' good. Great place to learn what not to do in business.

Cons

Company has no direction, no strategy, no concern for employees. One VP makes comments when good people leave that it makes no difference, no one will even rememvber the one that left. No concern to motivate and train. Years behind in the industry and even then make mistakes the industry learned years ago. Don't understand IT, automation and still favor manual processes, bad IT mgmt and systems, many outages, shipments delayed. Mgmt hires and protects bad employees - many at Sr levels - who are friends more than is finanacially responsible. Constant state of chaos fostered by the CEO and the Executive Leadership.

Pros

Dedicated, long-term employees who still come to work every day and do their best, even without sound direction or support from above. The benefits have been fair, as are the severance packages.

Cons

Constant changes in direction. Penny-wise, pound-foolish financial decisions. Bonus driven Sr. Managers. Incomprehensible and ever-changing IT strategy. The dysfunction starts at the Corporate level in Bonn, with one poorly conceived and implemented program after another introduced almost end to end since the purchase of DHL and Airborne by DPWN, with few signs of learning from mistakes of the past.
