Pros

My colleagues are wonderful people. Pay is reasonable, only slightly below average for the type of work. Health insurance is a good perk.

Cons

I have been with this company since the HP days. After we became HPE, it was clear that we were in leaner times but we understood it was because we were a new, smaller company. After we became DXC, I have watched everything I loved about working here get stripped away. Since HPE, it has been extremely difficult to hire new staff. We have been on skeleton staffing levels and have given up on getting new employees. Staffing in my department was cut by 20% since I started here. We can usually just barely scrape by but when it’s especially busy, we have no chance. Even if we do manage to pull service levels out from the fire, there’s no reward for doing so. Not even an email saying “good job”. Practically all employee benefits and perks were eliminated. Despite record share prices, the company got rid of all corporate discounts, employee recognition rewards, and employee social committees. It says a lot about the company when the intranet site no longer has a section for “Employee Benefits”. Managers with long tenures and the most experience are either being laid off, forced to retire, or jumping ship left, right, and center. They are either being replaced by those who are wholly unqualified or their responsibilities are delegated to the teams they used to represent. Finally, the biggest issue, Morale. Employees are angry, depressed, disillusioned, and distrustful of the company. We’ve been through so many empty promises of being rewarded for our efforts, it means nothing to us anymore. People are looking for jobs on the clock and taking sick days just to have a break. They’re talking about when they expect to be laid off or what they’re going to do with their severance package. There are a ton of empty chairs with a thick layer of dust on them. It’s outright depressing. Bottom Line: Stay far away from this company. You are expendable and the company culture makes that clear. It feels like we’re working for the benefit of nobody but the shareholders. There is a feeling of dread in the air that our office is circling the drain. It’s horrible.

There are many jobs available at DXC Technology. Please come and take a few from me.

Cons

Not enough people work here. The demand is too great. Work - Life balance is seriously tilted in the work area.

Pros

Friendly staff in most areas I worked in

Cons

So many redundancies every quarter means most people are trying to cover 2, 3 or even 4 roles as the work of the redundant staff still needs to be done. Stress levels are high & morale low.
