      Laid off after 20 years of service.

      Pros

      Company benefits, perks and discounts. Flexible schedules

      Cons

      I gave 20 years of my life to this company and got laid off one year before retirement because of the merger. Was told my department wouldn't suffer any budget cuts, this was obviously a lie. They told that to many employees and departments during the merger. However they ended up laying off hundreds of people with barely a day's notice. They don't value any of their employees that have put in time and hard work to help build this company. Everyone is disposable to them.

      Pros

      Some of the old EDS and HP managers are still around. Hopefully they will survive the CSC disaster and the company can get back to growth.

      Cons

      No people care. Loyal employees with years of experience and knowledge are fired without cause. Everything is being off-shored. A once great company (EDS) has been destroyed by greedy CEO's who only want to line their pockets.

      Pros

      Strong co-workers are still employed there, but that pool of personnel is shrinking.

      Cons

      Industry review of the company is not positive. Continual job cuts occurring. Roles are being transferred to lower cost locations, so job security is not felt.
