Pros

Some neat individuals work here - could be an amazing company if they actually listened to customers & customer facing staff instead of being dictators from global perches

Cons

Lack of leadership makes out there is a caring culture when in fact there isn't No clear direction as far as solutions for customers across the DXC group as each channel within DXC actually competes against each other

Pros

Trying to move to digital

Cons

Micro management by CEO, poor overall Senior leaders, thousands of people losing their jobs each quarter, and profit in manufactured by cutting people. No rewards, no good benefits, and fear and intimidation rule. Excessive spending on consultants like McKinsey with little value.

Pros

- I am able to work remote - My group is so poorly managed that I don't need to work very hard to complete my work - My direct manager is great, although has little authority or autonomy - 401K match is adequate - DXC University is starting to offer good industry training

Cons

- Leadership is on an acquisition binge to pump the stock price and gain clients and technologies they appear incapable of designing or developing inhouse - Constant work force reductions (maybe to offset the inconvenience of paying thousands of newly acquired staff from all the acquisitions) - No warning or communication when layoffs occur, poor layoff packages, no reasons given - In my group (this may be different in other groups), lack of industry vision and inspiration from the leadership team, muddled strategic direction, insufficient resources due to constant headcount reductions, organization is completely incapable of executing to DXCs brand premise of digitization and automation - Restrictive travel means not enough ability to work with colleagues in a global organization - Vague vacation policy with supposedly "unlimited time off", but in reality everyone is too scared to take a vacation because they think taking time off will get them put on a layoff list, and there is no one to back them up while they are away - No bonus, no payrise, no stock options since I joined DXC, despite high performance rating. First time that has ever happened in twenty years in IT at multiple global top tier IT services firms - Our product line say 30% increase in revenue, but no bonuses, see above - If you are not a salesperson, you are a nobody. - Expensive healthcare plans - Most employees I work with feel like 'just another cog in the machine' - Lots of online training available (as long as you do it in your own time) but unless you live near DXCs (low cost) technology centers, there are no job opportunities.
