Pros

Great colleagues. Telecommuting was a perk.

Cons

Since 2007 (approx), the downhill trend started and has gotten worse over time. No job stability, outdated/out of support applications, no training, reactive environment, devolving benefits, ageism, etc. All this while upper management is making millions per year. Refer to layoff.com.

Pros

Lots of smart people work there, lots of knowledge to learn from

Cons

Upward mobility is limited, pay is stifled with little to no raises. managers were forced to give a percentage of their work force low ratings. this screams of possible lay offs and kills morale.

Pros

Good vacation time. The health benefits are fair. They give lots of insurance options.

Cons

No raises and no bonuses. You stay at the salary you stay at. No matter how many promotions you receive your salary will stay the same. They sell services to other companies so they want to keep the profit margin has high as possible. That’s the reason why they don’t give raises. This causes high turnover within the company. The high turnover causes the quality of work to be low.
