Pros

Flexible benefits package and pension contribution. Occasional opportunity to work at home.

Cons

Zero chance of progression. Pay rise freeze. Freeze on bonuses for front line delivery staff (not sales or exec level I suspect). Quarterly "workforce reduction" with no end in sight to VR then CR offers going on all around you. Will I be next?? No job security, talent leaving in droves. From our viewpoint we see reduced workload coming in from the major clients overall but we don't seem to see any concerns from management other than the quarterly culls to resolve this. Every few months another recruitment drive begins in an attempt to replace a handful of lucky ones who jumped ship, rather than any attempt at staff retention. No training budget and no time to do any training anyway. Extremely poor and inefficient operational processes leading to lots of frustration and wasted time/effort/duplication. Little done to improve or actually listen to people doing the work and generating revenue on how to improve things. I could go on, but I think you get the picture... sad to say but I cannot recommend this as a healthy place to work. Avoid if you can.

Pros

Consistent work schedule M-F. Have my own cube to utilize. Non physical strength demanding job

Cons

Lack or direction, no bonuses, no raise for many years. Work for the employee positions that are rarely replaced land on the employees left with no additional compensation. Leaders are more like management. Do more with less mentality. Work Force Reduction a constant threat. Office politics. Aging hardware to cut cost. Software issues-day to day operations suffer due to non-working systems. Not many ways if any to improve career. Management's condescending tone how they speak to employees. Healthcare cost increase year after year passed onto employees all the while offering less actual coverage. Lack of training. Training is non existent for most part, and things change constantly as to what are right or wrong regarding job duties. Monotonous work with very little appreciation.

Pros

Regular payroll that pays on time.

Cons

Low morale, relentless cost cutting, pyramid scheme, everything is "virtual" to save costs. Don't work here. DXC has built on the failure of HP and CSC to redouble their efforts to cut costs and destroy morale. The established business model is to grow by acquiring competition and then running it in to the ground to benefit from depreciation and write-offs while eliminating competition. Staff are treated like North Korean workers and expected to behave as such. The CEO Mike Lawrie pocketed an unimaginable bonus while the staff wallow, leave, are fired or made redundant. There is no recognised training offered. Everything is self funded. Shameful. DXC just takes their cut from your billable rate, and give nothing in return to the client or staff. It's just a black hole.
