The merger and re-branding have entirely broken the company's administrative infrastructure. From getting a laptop to fixing issues with travel reimbursement, you can expect to wait 1-2 hours on hold waiting during each interaction and usually the people you talk two will lack the knowledge or authority to fix your problem. For example, when I left the firm, since I'd been working on a project, I had several outstanding expense reports to be paid. The firm left me holding the bag for over $2000 of expenses that came out of my own pocket. There is no number for me to call, only an email alias that is entirely unresponsive. This is normal at DXC. Additionally, while I met some really outstanding people while I was there, there were also people who have been shuffled fro m job to job, essentially hiding their lack of capability behind the chaos of the company. One of my project leaders was such a person and it was painful how bad at his job he was. The people I worked with were exceptional and extremely competent, but the chaos of the merger and rebranding have allowed many broken processes and untalented people to remain at the firm. Almost everyone I knew at the firm was looking for another job.
