Pros

Nice people to work with and learn from. Flexible hours. Healthcare benefits. No bosses in the common sense. Flat organizational structure. Lots of autonomy.

Cons

You may end up in a project that you don't enjoy or get a feeling that the thing you are working on is not very important to anyone. But there are usually ways around this. Flat organizational structure.

Pros

Good as a first job to gain experience. Or for people without a family. Overall the team is good and quite professional.

Cons

Managers promote their wives, give little or no information about what's going on in the company. The salary is average, but no insuarnce, no pension plan at all. The statements that people who work hard will be rewarded are not hold true. Management don't treat fairly thosee who they don't like personally.

Pros

1. friendly and nice co-workers (most of them) - the main reason why I worked there 2. a nice view over Voronezh from 15-17 floor (or even 25th if you go to the top of the skyscraper) 3. flexible working hours

Cons

1. really really REALLY LOW salaries 2. slow promotion based on the amount of time you have spent in the company, not merit-based (e.g. if you start as a trainee, after 3 months you became a Junior Developer, etc) 3. I started as a trainee and killed three months on their "mentoring programme". It is useless and has a degrading effect. My mentor didn't care about me at all; he was only giving me tasks, but he has never helped me to implement them or to improve my coding style (the answer to everything: "Read the book!").
