Benefits are good (medical, dental, 401K match) .

Cons

Lack of career advancement opportunities, lack of pay increases. You have vacation time, but the culture is to be available and work during vacation because leadership does. And when you come back from work, you will be swamped/overwhelmed and regret taking any time off. The culture is very clicky and if you are not with the "in" crowd you will not enjoy your work. Dell values white men and white women and consider white women as being part of diversity. You can count the number of true minority leaders at Dell and if you work there, I challenge you to pay attention to this. There is no diversity of thought or background.

Used to be an okay company. I actually liked working here but that was years ago.

Cons

Today, Dell has some of the worst leadership in the industry. No lie! - No Vision - No Strategy - No Planning - No Process or Planning - Not competitive - Can't deliver anything on time - Can't deliver a complete solution - Laying off thousands of good employees while keeping horrible managers in place.

1. No promotions 2. Lack of management support 3. Lack of peer support 4. Lack of work/life balance 5. Lack of care 6. Way too much politics 7. Leadership Always looking out for themselves 8. Workforce reduction constantly 9. Constant restructuring 10. Poor to none job security 11. Constantly live in fear 12. There are no friends, watch your back 13. Selfish motives 14. Dell is only a name, don't let it fool you 15. The list is truly endless, I thought this was a place that would promote growth and it never happened, steer clear, you will thank me. Keep looking and don't work here!
