      Pros

      Good emphasis on building great products and software. Friendly coworkers that are always willing to listen or lend a hand. Good work/life balance. Very flexible.

      Cons

      From a software development standpoint the standard company laptop is too locked down to be useful. The software group, being fairly new, is still working out where it fits in the larger organization.

      Pros

      Great opportunities for learning, fantastic work life balance and culture. I believe that Dell's best days are yet to come and going private will benefit the company in the medium term.

      Cons

      I left the company as I found there was a lack of opportunities in the company for myself personally, it depends on the org you are in though as some orgs are constantly hiring.
