Place really went downhill when Dell took over. My job title was lowered from principle tech to senior tech which cut my money. Also benefits were torn apart by Dell. Blue cross blue shield of Illinois is the worst insurance I have had in over 20 years. They do not pay for the same things the EMC policies we had with had under EMC. It was a nightmare dealing with our current insurance plan. Moral all around the company is very low. You sitting there worrying about layoffs instead of doing your job. It is almost impossible to get a promotion unless you know someone. Less quality people are always promoted overr quality people.

Mgr arrogant, after 6 months, was hit with a work force reduction so naturally have sour grapes. Heck massive company, overlapping roles, unclear direction, was "promised" by hiring mgr my focused area, only to see him move to another internal position 3 months into my new job. He was replaced by someone outside the company..
