Pros

You get laptop on day 1 and you have access to every other website.

Cons

I have suffered a lot. I have lost my 2 years of professional life. The so called leaders of this organization are very smart at creating "Feel-good" atmosphere - you will hear from the very first day of your joining about the N number of projects being in pipeline. Initially this comforting hope will make you happy but as time passes you yourself will come to know the truth, the real picture. Chances of you being on bench are more and this is an excellent reason for the management to give you bad rankings during the appraisals. After spending almost 1.5 years i lost my variable pay and on top of that i didn't receive any hike. People who are hard working and who usually do not like simply "show-off" and are self esteemed are bound to suffer in this organization. If they do not have the projects of your primary skill then they will put you in some other skill and make you work on that and after a couple of months you yourself will get frustrated and will leave the job. The same thing happened with me. After loosing my variable pay and not getting a hike and that too waiting after 15 months, i was kind of disappointed deeply. Naturally I had lost my interest in my work. By that time I was not being treated fairly by one team leader as that person was arrogant and assigning me loads of work and that work was not aligned to my primary skill. I went to a manager's cabin to complain about him. To my surprise that fellow insulted me saying he had no time to listen. I resigned. Even after your resignation nobody will approach you. I feel bad because I worked honestly and at many instances i worked on N number of weekends but nobody took the notice of it. My all hard work, honesty went in vain. Nobody was available to give a patient hearing when i was in a bad situation. I do not understand why don't they put you in projects of your primary skill ? The management also need to identify who are fake and who are genuine people. People will respect you if you are worth of it. If a person is not saying hi/hello or giving fake smiles at you then it it does not mean that he is not giving respect to you. This can not be a criteria to decide the rankings in the appraisal. How would an organization understand one's potentials if they put you in some other skills which is not your primary one ?

Pros

Good benefits (medical, status at airlines, discounts at hotels, wellness subsidy)

Cons

No work at the moment. Spend months on the bench begging for work but there is none. Terrible catty environment with the term “Deloitte nice” meaning people are nice to your face but throw you under the bus behind your back. It’s a game of popularity, not skill. They are letting almost 2000 people go for “performance based” reasons to mask the fact that they are actually laying people off. They just don’t want to pay what is actually owed to people in a layoff so they are doing this instead.
