Pros

It's very difficult to write anything good when there exists none.

Cons

- Pathetic work culture in the technology integration practice specifically in North region - Very low salary in terms of the amount of work that is asked to to. - Often put into projects to handle all alone without any team members. - Often moved around and expectation is to travel to any other place within short notice. - No benefits if you are travelling outside for project. Sometimes have to pay from your own pocket for the expenses occurred.

Pros

Did not find any good

Cons

During my induction program in Deloitte, I got another better offer, I informed this to respective HR politely that I will not be able to continue here, they started asking for buy out amount for 2 months notice period. I agree it is part of the agreement which we need to sign on the joining day, but I am not into any of your project, no business is going to affect if i leave your organization. So why being so firm, they said they are the organization for their employees, I didn't feel so at any point of my shortest tenure there. The management was too rude and ignorant. They kept me holding up for so long, not even replying properly to mails even though I agreed to pay buy out amount for early release, still they were like it will take more time we have to get all approvals. Seriously 3 weeks time you need for getting approvals for the employee who has not been assigned deployment manager yet. Whom exit won't cost you anything as he or she is not yet a resource for you. At the end, i mailed them that this particular day will be my last working day if management agrees great, if not I am going to leave then also, so after 3-4 days of my last working day as per me, they send out a formal mail like your resignation has been accepted on so and so date please complete all the formalities by this date, the date which was already passed. This wasn't expected out of the organization like Deloitte. Disappointing experience. And yes I have paid the amount and served notice for 19 days because they so desperately wanted me to stay in the organization which doesn't have any courtesy or empathy for an employee

Pros

- Generally very smart, motivated, hard-working colleagues - Promotion path is very clear and based mostly on your own ability to succeed - Generous PTO/vacation, however can be challenging to use unless between projects or around a holiday - Great learning opportunities and investment in people - Many opportunities to do what you want to do - projects, industries, clients

Cons

- Lifestyle, travel, and work-life balance can be challenging - Can be a very political environment - layers of partner-level overhead, matrixed organization with confusing reporting relationships - Burn-out can often get to high performers at mid-career level - Too many extracuriculars in addition to client work, many with questionable value - Too often we build massive PowerPoint decks when a simple conversation, email, or few pages is sufficient to deliver a message, we like to do work for the sake of doing work sometimes
