My salary is ridiculously low Huge differential pay even at the same post and make sure you know at which heirarchy level you are taken into . I would not have joined as a management trainee had i known it was lower than audit assistant. They withold information and the HR's face tells it clear In a total picture sense the amazing job profile somewhat make up for no pay(almost). But its not something you can tell people. For those who are not entering MBAs or returning consultants with MBAs, I would shy away from Deloitte Consulting. No network to support external hires or transfer hires from within Deloitte (i.e., your colleagues with MBA classes will likely be chosen over you for interesting work unless you have a partner to protect you.) Also, there are no guarantees in consulting. You may be based in Atlanta and have a Marketing focus, but you could be staffed in Seattle on a Finance project.
