Pros

If you are a German male then you are laughing.

Cons

Germanic in its take on things (including senior management) so will never be a real competitor in the banking industry. Zero diversification, awards ineptitude. You have to cover for the people in Germany who are not 'bank smart' and dont think outside the box. Poor pay once you have been in the bank for a while and does not do anything to prevent the ongoing gender pay gap.

Pros

Let me know if you find one

Cons

- No meritocracy - Bonus is not based on your individual performance, rather how good your pretence is in front of senior management - Too much internal politics - Lot of variation from team to team. Some teamwork their ass-off while other barely do something while still earning the same salary - No company culture, no sense of bonding (I interacted with HR only once, when I joined the firm. They didn't even take my exit interview)
