Pros

Variety in type of work and opportunity for rotation adequate. Flexible and friendly work environment. Good opportunities for learning and development which are encouraged.

Cons

Do not consider all directors and MD's to be good and competent managers. IT and systems are generally a huge constraint.

DB offers competitive pay (on par with other major investment banks) with advancement opportunities for employees that are identified as high performers.

Cons

Work life balance can be an issue for people with interests outside of work. However, the expectation to work long hours is common place for bulge brackets.

Mobility is great, Ive moved around the bank and taken knowledge on with every move. Really enjoyable team and people to work with

Cons

If you are at the bank for a long time your salary falls below market rate and pay mix exceptions are unheard of
