Pros

Great leaders. Growing bank in the US. Hard working and talented employees. Great place to start you career. Diversified workforce.

Cons

Lack of senior leadership. Lack of direction and vision in the investment bank. Bonus compensation was lower than street averages.

Pros

- great pay - great name on your resume - learn a ton of Excel and Finance skills that will be useful everywhere - good work environment and people are generally easy to work with and fun

Cons

- The environment is fairly political, you need to position yourself well socially to get on good projects - The staffers don't take much of an interest in your development - Feedback is rarely constructive

A fair place to work and management really pushed work life balance for the staff. Financially it was paying at or above market.

Cons

Hierachical structure of the bank in the finance department was entrenched. Often had to stay late to finish off reports and systems were not the best.
