Pros

Flexible with regards to hours. City based.

Cons

New Management, cronyism rife. So called Programme Managers, not delivering, yet staying employed. No roles and responsibilities, so permanent members of staff not held responsible when things go wrong. Lots of vendor and contractor reliance. Changes in strategy, staff not communicated. Lack of delivery, even after large business spend. No one in IT held accountable for lack of delivery.

Pros

Good people, though i can't see people staying much longer in the current environment. Relatively good work life balance.

Cons

Compensation is substandard and has to be fought for tooth and nail. The compensation situation breeds an environment of resentment throughout the firm.
