Pros

Brilliant group of people, strong culture and diversity. Mostly everyone had an mba, phD, licenses. Lots of intellectual capital there. 20 vacation days. Small relocation bonus. Some opportunity for working remotely.

Cons

What good are all those days if you can never take them? They promise 20% bonuses to entice you to relocate there, since there is next to NO talent in Jacksonville. Then you get a 3% bonus. Don't fall for it. Disorganized management at the upper levels. No opportunity for advancement. Bosses are indifferent to your efforts. No adequate direction in how to do your job so your efforts are wasted when you do your job and bosses make you start all over due to a new rule. Lots of politics and some annoyingly nosy team members. LOTS of turnover be it doesn't take long for the smarter people to realize morale sucks and leave.

Pros

Work from home Good working hours Friendly people (at least in Global Technology)

Cons

HR does not build relationships with people Lack of communication and transparency Senior management and the bank as a whole not upholding to the agreed terms Low pay compared to the tech industry or other banks Career prospects are not very clear at the lower end of the spectrum and career advancement is pretty slow and not performance oriented (i.e. you have to wait in line for a promotion)

Pros

They are hiring a lot of people in the North Carolina location. There are many opportunities to stand out because a lot of duplication and ineffeciency to stamp out. A slower pace compared to the tech industry and you are given time to learn on the job and slowly integrate into the culture. The people are very friendly and nice for most part, in a way find it refreshing compared to working at a tech company with less than adjusted geniuses.

Cons

Mediocre talent, usual bureaucracy of a large institution, not a very nimble org.
