A once great company ruined by new management and politics at the top.

Cons

The management at the HQ location is a very siloed structure. I was employed at this company for twenty-four years. I grew with the company, and had a great experience in the early years, however, corporate politics from upper management, specifically the Cardmember Services Management team at HQ from the top down has no concern for their people, only for the bottom line. The company was made great by maintaining an employee centric atmosphere which motivated employees to stay and remain loyal to the company and work hard to perform which garnered great bottom line results. The focus has changed, and it was a very sad thing to witness and be a part of.

Pros

Very good technical infrastructure for those who are go-getters. You can shine if you are willing to go beyond your job description and take ownership during a project.

Cons

Communications are ppor between management and staff, I was in Illinois my manager was in Utah. Language barrier with staff becuase most of them are from India and their accent sometimes makes it hard to understand. There is a revolving door for staff, mosly consultants from India.

Benefits-(Although they are not much better than other large companies) PTO Nice Building Occurrence Policy is Very Lenient--you can basically call off work 5 times before corrective action They Allow Make up time to avoid having an occurrence if you call off

Cons

Uneducated Team Leaders and Management "Lifers" that don't know how to do their jobs Cafe has extremely high prices Team Leaders show favortism Have to work almost every Saturday (3 Saturdays out of 4) but HR won't tell you this until you're already hired and working..they say 1 Saturday per month during the interview process Do not pay time and half for Sunday shifts Team Leaders/Coaches and Managers are constantly fired without explanation Account Managers have high turnover as well--because of the way they are treated DISCOVER OUTSOURCES HUMAN RESOUCE FUNCTIONS AND BENEFIT CUSTOMER SERVICE TO INDIA!!!! Fitness Center is a Joke, and it's not free!! It's currently $20 approx per month and it's closed on weekends
