Pros

Good technology, good people and a fantastic market opportunity.

Cons

It's been a rough ride with the changes at the top and the changing mix of products. The different departments don't work together because it is not encouraged from the top.

Great product, but lots of risk.

Pros

They APM tools are well regarded and near the top of the analyst rankings. There is a great deal of investment in R&D, so the product stays very competitive. Work life balance is achievable.

Cons

They were recently bought by private equity firm Thoma Bravo, so expect many changes. Much of the leadership has left the company in the last year. Executives predict more layoffs coming. There will be a lot of change in the next year or two, so job security is a risk.

Pros

Competitive salary and bonus structure; you get rewarded for your hard work and get increasingly more responsibility when you prove yourself.

Cons

Lots of changes happening which can be unsettling for some, but overall heading into a good direction. Work life balance can suffer at times.
