      Pros

      I started at EPAM as a Junior Developer on a challenging oil and gas project, and with the support of my mentors, I grew into a Senior Software Engineer leading my own team. EPAM has always encouraged learning and personal growth through programs like the Culture of Togetherness, CSR initiatives, and hands-on trainings. During my maternity break, I received incredible support and flexibility, which made me feel truly valued. After 6.5 years, I’m proud to be part of a company that genuinely cares for its people and inspires growth and innovation.

      EPAM has a very strong engineering-driven culture with high technical standards and best practices. Great opportunities to work on complex, real-world projects for well-known international clients. Continuous learning is encouraged: access to internal courses, certifications, knowledge sharing, and mentorship programs. Professional and supportive colleagues; teamwork and knowledge exchange are highly valued. Flexible work arrangements and good work-life balance compared to many consulting companies. Transparent performance reviews and clear career progression paths. Exposure to modern technologies, cloud platforms, and scalable architectures.

      Cons

      Project quality and workload can vary depending on the client and engagement. As a senior engineer, expectations are high, and you need to be proactive and self-driven. In large projects, processes and approvals can sometimes slow things down. Compensation growth may depend heavily on performance reviews and project availability.
