Pros

-good relations with huge companies -bench -good location

Cons

-i felt its a moral bankruptcy (probably the intense of the companies growht have had a bad impact on the management level... people just get promoted because no one else was there) -some collegaues are incompetent, really incompetent -cumbersome process for promotion and pay raise -outsourcing disease: companies don't outsource real innovations -cca. hundread of codecool and greenfox guys "maintaining" the quality

Pros

Might upscale you to a better standard resource. Lucky if you work under a good PM.

Cons

Senior management has no skills to manage as they are not professional managers. They reached their positions only because of their tenure in the org. Epam india is all opposite to global epam. Projects here still decades old. And even if epam india gets good project. They do not map the right candidates and the client runs away quickly. Mangement considers resouce pool as a herd. Lacks efficient resource management

In 2017, 7 big & reputed logos (Finance, Retail, Mobile, Product Development, Banking sector) have started projects with EPAM India. These projects use latest technologies like Micro Services, PCF, AWS, Azure, NoSQL, Test Automation using JAVA Selenium, Performance Testing for HYBRIS, latest being SFDC. We have successfully built Robotic Process Automation, Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence competency in India and serving 3 clients already. • We have opened an office in Pune in the beginning of the year and added more space effective 01 Aug 2017. Our new state of the art facility with 1600 capacity in Hyderabad is getting ready where we are going to consolidate the operations. Based on the current growth plan, we are planning to commit additional space for 2019. This is a testimony to our strong leadership skill in India.

Since the acquisition, the hiring process has gone through a complete transformation. Interviewers need to be certified by the competency to conduct interviews. There is ample focus to evaluate fundamentals in computer science and every person needs to clear a coding task to become eligible for hiring. Interviews are done through an in-house portal that records the interviews for future reference and is used to develop more certified interview panelists. In 2017, we have hires more than 120 associates in EPAM India. • To deliver high-quality work to the client, every associate needs to be continuously learning/upskilling and this is enabled through Global competency framework that clearly defines the expectations at each job level, help associates to define Personal Development Plans and support them in providing learning avenues through Learn and EPAM University. • We believe strongly in helping our associates continue to succeed in their careers, and we do this through Unified Assessment (UA). UA is a process to promote right talent with appropriate skills and capabilities to higher levels. This is an unbiased process where the associate is assessed by a panel of experts to ensure skill and capabilities across regions are similar.
