Pros
Feels very stable if you're on a good project. Offers decent support, including partial compensation for drafted employees and a bench if project ends (more modest compared to previous years, but still reasonably well). Overall technical expertise among colleagues varies, but is generally strong and in many cases comparable/higher to that of on-site engineers from top US and EU clients. Solid career growth opportunities up to the lead level.
Cons
Salary promotions have slowed down. It's better to negotiate a strong base salary when joining as significant/frequent raises are unlikely at the moment Finding a solid long-term project has become increasingly difficult, particularly in Ukraine
