Pros

High variation in tasks and assignments, lots of independence and flexibility, lots of international work, good sense of quality in the work, friendly, supportive culture

Cons

Too much of the work is too much about reviewing and diligencing other peoples work, not enough constructive solutions development. Not always satisfying to work like that. Very risk averse culture that makes consulting a pain once in a while. Limited meritocracy - seems more political than meritocratic. Downside of friendly culture is that feedback and consequences for poor performance is not consistent or pervasive.

Pros

Big company, looks good on your CV, lots of support structures, worked as part of a talented team of individuals who are still good friends.

Cons

Data analytics was only there to serve the audit, which was beyond dull and didn't embrace analytics at all. Promised an awful lot during the interview and it never came to fruition. Poor management structure and promotion prospects, you will be locked into the audit promotion path which is ridiculous given we are not auditors.

the pay was somewhat competitve

Cons

The management in the Dallas downtown office is horrible, they believe in micro management and unfair workplace practices. Changing environment without any warning. Everything can change at the drop of a dime and management will not inform you until the final hour resulting in you staying later than anticipated.
