      Nice office location as it connected to Raffles Place and Downtown MRT Branding is okay, will look decent on CV since it's a Big 4 Some partners are okay

      Cons

      Long hours and OT is not appreciated, it is a given since it's audit Tends to be understaffed as people just can't take it and result in high staff turnover Partners in my dept rarely show appreciation for work done, except if you are their favourite manager. Very clear favouritism shown. They are not really bothered if you resign, people are disposable anyway, they will just hire another replacement, usually coming from the neighbouring country. After 2 years, started feeling quite depressed in this firm. Glad I moved out.

      Amazing vacation People care about your well being You'll develop strong soft skills Strong people leadership amongst leaders

      Cons

      Success isn't a function of how good you are. It's about how well you are liked by leaders There isn't a technical track to develop hard skills Poor thought leadership amongst leaders At the end of the day, it's all about money. Even if the work is boring or the hours are long, if someone is willing to pay them, the leaders at EY will take the deal, irrespective of whether it's aligned to their skill set or not.
