Pros

Overall, I like working at Eaton. In my opinion, the biggest strength is the culture compared to most automotive companies. Management is more laid back, and it's less stressful. - easygoing culture compared to other automotive companies - good work/life balance, relatively low stress - friendly/helpful co-workers - career development is a high priority and taken seriously by management - good on-boarding process and training opportunities

Cons

Overall, the cons are not horrible - just little things that could be improved. - 401k match suspension and mandatory unpaid leaves of absence for those above a certain level hurt morale - too many "report out"/waste of time meetings - can take too long to process things through systems - lack of accountability or consequences from management if objectives aren't met - too much pandering to Wall Street and lack of implementation of long term strategy

Pros

They offer a lot of perks that you come to expect from corporations their size. There are a lot of very hard working and good people employed, which you get to work alongside.

Cons

Senior management is very out of touch with what it takes to fulfill the duties that are expected of employees. The expectations and workload seem to grow while there are no improvements to tools needed to do the job and no man power is added. Tools (systems, software, etc.) are poor for the size of the company. Work-life balance is poor for above stated reasons.

Pros

Good product and customers yields a strong business base. Customers recognize value of product generating organic growth and Eaton recognizes value of Aerospace in the portfolio this invests in the business.

Cons

Profit is king. Mandatory time off and layoffs if off profit plan. Managers protect personal bonus at expense of employees.
