Pros

- National average pay, which works out well since many sites are in low cost of living locations - Forward looking leadership - Strong, positive, constructive internal culture - Makes serious effort to stay true to values - Well known within its markets - Low than average tolerance of toxic personalities - Lots of career opportunities

Cons

- 2nd level external leadership hires sometimes don't take company values seriously - Slow engineering promotion within the same vertical. If you want to advance here, you'll have to actively apply for other roles - Org chart is so large literally no one has a complete picture of it (I know because I've tried). Difficult to tell who handles what or what some people's portfolio is - Outsized focus on stock buybacks instead of compensating employees. Low single digit % merit raises in the US - Compensation in high cost locations is embarrassingly low
