Pros

Eaton has been generally good to me. Good company for lateral moves, especially if you are willing to relocate. Work life balance has been good to me, but experience seems to vary on a team to team basis.

Cons

Company is changing a lot as it transitions from a traditional automotive company to playing in the electricifcation space. New test capabilities being invested heavily offshore, leaving concerns of long term stability.

Pros

Some nice co-workers and surroundings.

Cons

Strongly suggested to employees that they "gift" their vacation back to the company while senior managers did not. HR was only there to make sure the company did not get sued.

Pros

Decent entry pay and company truck

Cons

Travel can be extensive and put on you at last minute. If they decide for any reason that they want to fire you they will not hesitate or give warning no matter how good of an employee you have been. You could work there for years with no incidences and they will let you go the second you break one of their rules if that's how they want to play it without a single thought about the affect it could have or the sacrifice you have made for them.
