Pros

Eaton offers a fantastic number of benefits, which includes a competitive pay offering, a great working environment, and good talent development focus. As a whole, Eaton has a huge selection of opportunities, locations, and is often flexible with where you work. With flexibility in mind, Eaton is also moving closer to a "Millennial standard" with flexible work schedules, semi-tolerance towards access to social media during work, as well as moving closer to Millennial style working environments. Eaton is also a big proponent of community involvement, and encourages all employees to be a participant. They allow leave for community service events as well.

Cons

Eaton, albeit a strong company with a great working environment, struggles to create a comfortable atmosphere for their employees based on the challenges in the current market. Working in Vehicle Group has been especially nerve racking with a surplus of reorganizations and cost saving measures. In addition, Eaton can be selective and overly political with their hiring process, sometimes letting goals outside of strictly talent growth drive decisions. This is often manager dependent. Eaton also doesn't offer bonuses for folks under a certain salary band.

Pros

Salaries in sales are decent, good product offering, decent sales tools, known for quality, many smart employees, smart acquisitions, good balance portfolio.

Cons

Company is very corporate, lots of red tape, 2 weeks vacation for first 5 years is insulting. CEO makes too much money, too many layoffs at manufacturing level.

Pros

Pay was ok. Slack business casual. Interesting work if leadership wanted to keep jobs in the USA. Unfortunately this is not the case.

Cons

Beltsville MD or any east coast Aerospace plant are not great places to work. Very awkward culture here. Everyone over reacts from fear of upper management. New management has no idea what they are doing. New Senior leadership rolls come in to count all the beans and will chop fat at will in an effort to make a name for themselves. Company moral....non existent.
