Pros

Edwards is a great, solid company to work for. They are very driven and focused on success. There are some amazingly talented people working for Edwards, which is why they lead in innovative products. Everybody's friendly and the environment is VERY diverse, even for Utah. The opportunities to grow and learn in your career field are abundant at Edwards. You will assuridly gain valuable skills by working here

Cons

Because Edwards is so highly driven, the work environment can be very stressful, engineers working less than 50 hours a week are considered slackers. Everything is a rush and an emergency, and everyone is stretched thin. Getting promoted is nearly impossible, even if you've been doing the workload of 3 people at a level 2 steps above your pay grade for the last 3 years, it's still not enough to justify a promotion in their eyes. They use outdated technology to supplement their outdated processes.

Pros

The people I was working with were (other laborers) very friendly. I enjoyed most of my fellow employees, there's always a few who are harder to interact with, but for the most part, very nice people.

Cons

Management appears to be totally and completely profit driven. Concerns and suggestions from employees were either ignored or just shot down. VERY rigorous requirements on production speeds after a very short training period.

Pros

Work-life balance, sharp people in Engineering.

Cons

Short-term focus, company can't compete on price with competition. Not enough investment during commercialization with the emphasis being on minimizing up-front tooling/automation costs. Purchased piece part prices and labor content are too high.
