Pros

People are nice and young. Fresh minds and faces. Profit margin is ridiculously high. Lots of meetings and status reports so you can't stray too far from the road.

Cons

More pretentious people! Much more luxury cars in the parking lot than companies that have higher average income. Lots of meetings and status reports taking time from actually doing work. Young people put more emphases on actions without spending time on alternatives.

Pros

Edwards has a great culture and fun atmosphere. You will be working on leading edge technology in a fast paced environment. Edwards strives to maintain a strong commitment to quality.

Cons

Sometimes work/life balance is more work than life. High pressure environment. Majority of people that work at Edwards are the best of the best, so it can get competitive when trying to move up.

Pros

meaningful products Engineers given significant amount of responsibility Managers can handle honest mistakes Bonus offered Co-workers are confident in your ability Contemporary Campus Travel opportunities Continuous improvement of system infrastructures Training Issued laptops and credit cards Nice employees to an extent

Cons

Managers change frequently. Don't expect a promotion under this circumstance. Top heavy organization. Co-workers commonly transfer before completion of (any) projects. It will be a mystery what some employees are actually working on. No rationale why particular employees receive promotion after promotion. Also, it is typical to offer management positions to outside candidates. Certain managers not accessible or approachable. Will consult with specific employees for communication. Company looks stable, but can't be, since they layoff employees
