Pros

Great location, nice facilities, close to everything, great HV products (though facing tough competitions now), many great engineers, technicians & operators still work here with great personalities. I learned so much in my short years there & now have a blossoming career with knowlege & technologies I gained. I can't thank Edwards enough.

Cons

Horrible traffic, too political in promotion/ reward, too many management levels (you can be as deep at 7 levels under CEO Mike Mussalem & can have 3 ppl with the same level reporting to each others). Tough to get anything done here. The old-timers protect their retirement benefits, stocks & didn't want to approve anything creative.

Pros

Holiday Shutdown, Location of the Site

Cons

Leadership, Work Life Balance, transparency, the site is full and the only opportunities are if someone is fired or leaves creating a cutthroat environment where leadership refuses to be transparent in the real situation of the site.

Pros

Edwards had a Long Term CEO leader that was trusted and steered the organization through growth - that CEO has since retired and the trust in leadership has diminished. Great mission.

Cons

Recent turnover of several long term senior leaders reflects the decline in the health of the organization. Current executive leadership does not have the pulse on the organization and employees anymore. Culture has changed to a very political nature. Just completed a massive 500+ layoff as well as smaller layoffs within the organization continue. Approximately 45% of current Edwards employees with profiles on LinkedIn indicate they are open for work. Very political organization with massive favoritism in play. It seems like strategy has changed from growing/innovating medical technology to acquiring smaller organizations...likely to keep from being acquired themselves.
