      Pros

      I have total freedom and flexibility in scheduling. I dont have an office to report to. I truly believe that ALDI offer incredible value to our customers. The growth we are experiencing now is unbelievable. The current economic climate is almost custom tailored for highlighting our benefits to our customers. Many people hired to be a DM take this as their first job out of college, so the salary is unbelievable if this is your only exposure to the business world. The training program is very thorough, almost too long. You don't have ignorance as an excuse when you finish training.

      Cons

      Working weekends. Literally 1980 technology. Decision making authority kept too high.

      Great coworkers, nice work flow.

      Cons

      You have to do a lot in an opening shift. You have x hours to stock all the pallets before open, sometimes there are a lot so you have to move quickly.

      + industry leading wages Associates - $12/hr, Shift Mgr - $16/hr, SMT - $23/hr, Store Manager - $75,000+/yr + great work environment + excellent training + health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k + 40-50 hr/wk with paid overtime Very fast paced so work hours fly by. I loved working at Aldi. The pay was great! Benefits great! Was training to be a store manager so a lot was expected of me but I was totally up for it. My store manager loved my work, associates loved my fairness, customers loved me.

      Cons

      + work/life balance + walked 28,000 steps/day!!! Never thought I would be fired for clocking in only minutes late!!
