      Pros

      ALDI provides the opportunity to essentially run your own business within the corporate policies and procedures. It is a lot of work and can be very rewarding, but full ownership of your store/district/division is required in order to be successful. ALDI is not for everybody, but if you are honest, hardworking, and customer friendly, the opportunities within this growing company are endless.

      Cons

      There are challenges early on surrounding the "work/life" balance, but you will come across that in any retail managerial role. Exceptional leaders are able to succeed and lead by example when it comes to a healthy work/life balance.

      Pros

      Great pay Hours were always there The manager at my location is a rare gem. Never had a boss quite like him. Everyone I worked with became like my family.

      Cons

      EXTREMELY physically demanding. I injured myself multiple times while I worked there.

      Pros

      + industry leading wages Associates - $12/hr, Shift Mgr - $16/hr, SMT - $23/hr, Store Manager - $75,000+/yr + great work environment + excellent training + health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k + 40-50 hr/wk with paid overtime Very fast paced so work hours fly by. I loved working at Aldi. The pay was great! Benefits great! Was training to be a store manager so a lot was expected of me but I was totally up for it. My store manager loved my work, associates loved my fairness, customers loved me.

      Cons

      + work/life balance + walked 28,000 steps/day!!! Never thought I would be fired for clocking in only minutes late!!
