      Pros

      Great pay. Benefits are amazing. If you have a good store manager it is great place.

      Cons

      Very dependent on how motivated or lazy the manager is. Worked at great stores and ones where people leave like flies. They set the tone for the whole store. Make sure you go to the store you are interested in and ask the other associates. District managers aren't real honest about promotions and timelines. Most are so overworked and inexperienced they just don't know how to deal with crappy managers so nothing happens

      Pros

      Great pay Hours were always there The manager at my location is a rare gem. Never had a boss quite like him. Everyone I worked with became like my family.

      Cons

      EXTREMELY physically demanding. I injured myself multiple times while I worked there.

      Pros

      + industry leading wages Associates - $12/hr, Shift Mgr - $16/hr, SMT - $23/hr, Store Manager - $75,000+/yr + great work environment + excellent training + health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k + 40-50 hr/wk with paid overtime Very fast paced so work hours fly by. I loved working at Aldi. The pay was great! Benefits great! Was training to be a store manager so a lot was expected of me but I was totally up for it. My store manager loved my work, associates loved my fairness, customers loved me.

      Cons

      + work/life balance + walked 28,000 steps/day!!! Never thought I would be fired for clocking in only minutes late!!
