Pros

My Store Manager was great, but that's it.

Cons

There were multiple of her "friends" that were promoted to Supervisory positions even though they had no right to be in such positions. They constantly publicly shame and berate their employees through "Group Texts" which they want you to be apart of even when you're not working. This company PRIDES itself on running their stores on (skeleton crews). They will have 2-3 associates in the store the majority of the time. All for this to increase profits, oh and don't think you will get a discount at the store you work at. I mean I know Germans historically aren't the most reasonable individuals, but the world is so bad now and a simple discount for your employees to buy food shouldn't even be an conversation. Besides being a nepotism hot spot, they just trwat and talk to you so wrong. Ex. "I'm going to make him do that" "I don't care what he thinks , I'm his boss" They want you to complete everything in record breaking time, by pitting all the associates against each other. I have never had such an experience where I was blatantly retaliated against. So to sum it up the store in (Porterville, Ca) is an nepotism, unethical, demeaning, disrespectful HOT SPOT.
