8yFirstly, thank you for your service at Arm. The majority of the reviews on Glassdoor have been positive but we appreciate that not everyone will have the same experience!
That said, the experience you describe is not one I have heard of during my time here at Arm and so I would love to address a few concerns.
To your comment on the management teams, with no/limited knowledge from Management, we recently restructured the organization in to two distinct groups: IPG and the subsequent lines of business, which focuses on the licenses technology we provide to semiconductor companies and ISG the IoT Services Group, which operates security and management services for connected devices. We did this so as to focus on growing the business to reach our desired goal of having 1 trillion connected devices in the next 20 years. We have a lot of growth ahead of us, with the separation allowing us focus on growing the businesses independently of each other without the need to report to shareholders and we appreciate that this is a big time of change for all of our employees. We’ve also recently introduced the core beliefs for leaders to guide our leadership teams on how they can inspire and manage their teams aligned with our culture and values.
You also mentioned about work life balance which is something we are rated highly consistently by our employees on Glassdoor! To ensure we are providing not only work-life balance but a flexible working environment, we are carrying out flexible working pilots across our different groups but also ensuring that our management teams are equipped to have conversations with their individual team members and find a flexible working plan that works best for that individual – whether that’s working from home, changing hours to adjust around child care or condensing their working week.
