Arm Response
8yThanks for leaving us a review. Your feedback is valuable, even if it’s not easy to read. Our ability to learn and quickly take action from our experiences will drive us to be more successful in the long-term so we do appreciate your feedback.
First of all, I’m very sorry, surprised and disappointed to hear about how the experience felt for you. Bullying is never acceptable and is not compatible with our Core Beliefs around “We, not I”. Please write to me with any further details you have and I will look into this personally, to ensure that nobody in my team is experiencing or perpetrating this type of behaviour.
As you say, this is a hugely exciting time for Arm and for our IT organisation, where we are undertaking a demanding programme of work to update our infrastructure and services so that they can cope with the demands of a larger, ambitious workforce in pursuit of 1 trillion connected devices. There are lots of opportunities and challenges here, at both an individual and collective level.
One of these is resources: we’ve introduced some new processes to improve how we allocate resources to our priorities, so that we’re having the greatest impact according to our goals. As a result we’re hiring a significant number of permanent staff, who we are committed to developing for the long-term. Turnover of our permanent staff in IT is less than 5%.
Thank you again for raising these important issues,
[Andy Smith, CIO, Arm]
