Arm Response
10yThanks for leaving a review, as well as your over 10 years of service to ARM! ARM's success is due in part to employees like yourself who have helped shape the company to where it is today.
Regarding internal grade descriptions, this is transparent and published to all colleagues, which can be found by doing a search for "Grade Level" in the company intranet. Employees do move up in grade without a change in role, but skill development is required to advance. This is gained through on-the-job experiences and individual initiative. In addition, formal learning sessions are available around career advancement and career aspirations are an encouraged topic of discussion between individuals and managers. I would recommend taking a look at the Talent Development portal on the intranet for more information.
Personally speaking as well as with many others in the business, most everyone agrees that working hours are quite flexible, as we place a lot of trust in the employees to finish their work. If you do not feel this is the case, I would suggest having more frequent communication with your line manager, as ultimately, it is up to him/her to decide, though with increased communication comes trust between both parties.
On RSU's, award levels have not declined compared to years past. The bonus structure mirrors ARM’s position as a growth company. If you are referring to the actual stock price, that is something that is out of our control, though it has consistently increased year over year.
Please do ask your People Team Business Partner if you have more questions, as we are here to help!
