Pros

Exceptionaly run company. Every single person is equally important regardless of rank. Senior, District and National management teams are HIGHLY supportive. Compensation at all levels is above expectation. Best Buy is a values based company which set the course for an employee at the get go. Expectations are very clear and as such, if you are an engaged employee you will love your job so much that it will never feel like work. The company is very open to improvement especially through learning from past mistakes. Even the most senior management is not afraid or too proud to admit that mistakes have been made in the past. It is how we proceed based on what we learned that makes us so successful! Most of us have had the pleasure of meeting Dick, Brad, Mike and Kevin - such nice down to earth people!

Cons

Because it is so much fun to be there, it is easy to forget you have family waiting for you at home.

Pros

-It's a job that is available in most locations.

Cons

-The company, on a corporate level, doesn't seem to grasp the value of the talent they have. - Close ties with Citibank subvert the importance of product knowledge, customer service, and revenue for credit card sales. - Daily Performance check-ins are overbearing and myopic. - Tends to burnout motivated employees with false carrots and hollow promises. - Pay's terrible, and rides the line of predatory at times.
