Pros

Decent hourly wage (depending on store location) Fun environment to work in if you like technology, electronics, etc. Not too difficult to move up in the company (lots of crappy employees, so the few good ones stand out)

Cons

Holidays SUCK! (Black Friday will make you hate people) Management (Sups/managers) seem to just push the workload onto the select employees who actually do work, and ignore those who just stand around and talk with each other. Not sure how well they will continue to do as a company since so many other places are cheaper. In the past people would come in so they could talk with "educated" employees before making big purchasing decisions (tv's, appliances, etc.) but with the internet research is becoming easier to do on your own, so less of a need for sales people.

pay could be higher for seasoned associates due to the brain trust at your disposal.

Pros

Flexible hours, employee perks such as discounted products, offers 401(k) despite being part-time, coworkers who are nice to work with.

Cons

Management is quick to call-out sales that have nothing attached to it (warranties, card applications, memberships, or accessories). There is a rodent problem that has not been addressed for nearly a year; food and beverages cannot be sold at this store.
