Pros

I did not like working at best buy, besides the discounts which were incredible, other than that I felt as if I were going to be trapped in the same position due to the over working of employess, i.e. performing management roles, while keeping the same pay.

Cons

The employees you work with can make or break your experience at a location, it is a rarity to be paired with management that you can stand or tolerate.

If you start out on registers up front it can be difficult to learn on the floor and find a department especially if you are not selling enough credit cards and memberships

-It's a job that is available in most locations.

Cons

-The company, on a corporate level, doesn't seem to grasp the value of the talent they have. - Close ties with Citibank subvert the importance of product knowledge, customer service, and revenue for credit card sales. - Daily Performance check-ins are overbearing and myopic. - Tends to burnout motivated employees with false carrots and hollow promises. - Pay's terrible, and rides the line of predatory at times.
