Pros

Staff travel whilst available and providing you have enough service, and don't need to travel in school holidays

Cons

Unfortunately it's not the company it used to be. There is a constant cost cutting culture. Redundancies are being made through out the airline and replacements are being made by offshore counterparts. The quality of the offshore replacements are poor and the remaining BA staff are trying to pick up the pieces. Morale is at an all time low and management are not interested in employees views, they just want to make the highest profit at any cost. Staff have to supply their own stationery such as pens and notebooks as BA no longer pays for this as part of one of the cost cutting exercises. If an external supplier visits the airline, the BA employee will be expected to pay for the suppliers coffee as there is no way to reclaim this back. There are also absolutely no promotion opportunities but they will expect you to work above your grade without the financial benefit.
