Pros
You get to see places you probably wouldn't pay to visit and get put up in amazing hotels. Staff travel. It’s very different to how I imagined the job would be but is ok if youre planning on staying a year or less.
Cons
1) The pay is dreadful especially for a London based job Im surprised it’s legal 2) There are so many jobs worths within the company who will report you for the most petty ridiculous things 3) You never work with the same team (I personally feel this is a disadvantage because you never get to make very good friends/ know people’s strengths and weaknesses 4) How strict ba are about sick days its like a military camp. Flying around so much isnt’t particularly great for your health and but they arent understanding about situations like this 5) Most passengers are fine but when you get a rude passenger nobody confronts them or tells them its not ok to talk down to staff (whereas they would in a restaurant environment) 6) It’s very easy to get fired so join the union 7) progression within in the company is not particularly appealing 8) very high turnaround not many people stay for very long
