Dreadful Leadership and Cripplingly Unionised - Air Cabin Crew British Airways Employee Review

Pros

Staff travel, fairly decent hotels, good team spirit amongst immediate colleagues, recognised brand and perceived professionalism from the public and the chance to see the world.

Cons

Awful 'them and us' type relations between the unfathomable layers of management and the staff. Management often rude, incompetent, power hungry, petty and counter-productive. Very great sense that the company care far more about money than about people. Culture of lying to passengers and staff is completely ingrained in the company. The pay scale is ridiculous with some cabin crew earning four times what others do for doing exactly the same job - completely dependent on base airport and date of joining.
