Pros
BA is an iconic brand that's built on a team of smart, hard-working and incredibly loyal people. Airlines are always interesting places to work, after all this is a complex product to create, market and deliver. Better still your friends will be genuinely fascinated in your work (albeit with their own crop of lost baggage stories).
Cons
The team loyalty has also created a tenured environment which can feel entitled and sometimes out of touch with realities of the market. The strong belief in the brand is a great asset but it breeds a certain arrogance which can be dangerous to any business. Finally, expect a tough few months at the start- everyone seems to know everyone else except you!
