Pros
I happen to have a set of good senior managers directly around me, so it makes things quite satisfying. I have also managed to acquire a good team under me - excellent people. The work is for the most part interesting, and the work-life balance is good. They do recognize top talent, just wish there was more of it. There are some good people, there are some bad. Still trying to figure out who's who sometimes...
Cons
Just wish we had a higher percentage of really good people...I think Citi is just too nice sometimes and really needs to clean house a bit more. Most of the groveling comes from those who should have departed long ago. Sorry if that sounds harsh, but it's the truth.
