Pros

- Management happily supports career growths whether it is within the department or to a different process group. - Management listens and cares for the employees - Free transportation if Midshift/Nightshift. - Daily travel/meal allowance - Bonuses

Cons

- Lack of FTE for certain processes and would still add more work despite the issue (Even before the quarantine scenario) - Too many changes in systems/processes that creates lapses in the work. - No OT pay - Work/life balance can be difficult - Annual increase can be underwhelming

Pros

Hybrid schedule, supportive managers, opportunities

Cons

Once you’re in, comp basically plateaus. Layoffs are happening across the board, which tends to be the full-time culture of citi. The vibe is very much “run lean” until something actually breaks, and only then consider adding headcount. You have to be intentional about protecting your work-life balance, because the implicit expectation is that you’re always on—24/7, 365—without the support of a properly staffed team.
